About

Marlee joined Fell Law in 2020. She primarily practices in the areas of wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury, and sexual assault.

During her time at Fell Law, Marlee has tried cases to verdict, taken and defended depositions of lay and expert witnesses, and written countless motions. She has successfully opposed numerous case-dispositive motions and wrote a prevailing brief on behalf of her client in the California Court of Appeal.

Before her career as an attorney, Marlee received her BA in English literature with an emphasis in literary criticism and theory from UC Davis. There, she was published by the University for her writing on the intersection of law and literature. Marlee realized that a career in the law was the best way to continue using her passions and skills – critical reading and creative writing – while helping injured individuals going through the most difficult periods of their lives. She attended University of San Diego School of Law, where she graduated at the top of her class. During her time in law school, Marlee externed for the Honorable William V. Gallo for the Southern District of California, was on the Executive Board for Moot Court, volunteered with the Pro Bono Legal Advocates to assist rehabilitated citizens expunge their criminal records, and monitored the polls with Common Cause during election season to protect voters’ democratic rights. Marlee serves on the Junior Board of the Society of Women Trial Lawyers.

As a San Diego native, Marlee enjoys spending time at the beach, on the tennis court, and cheering on the Padres.
